The TIYO fulfils their mission with trips to Sister Cities of Toledo to meet with youth, perform music with an international flavor, tour and learn about other cultures. TIYO traveled to Qinhuangdao, China and London, Ontario, Canada in 2007, to Poznan, Poland and Delmenhorst, Germany in 2008, and Tanzania in Summer of 2009. A trip to Vienna and Salzburg, Austria and Szeged (our Sister City) and Budapest, Hungary, in Summer of 2010. Summer of 2011 found the orchestra traveling to Japan and South Korea. A trip to Peru is being planned for 2012!
